Communisis, a leading provider of customer communications in financial services and insurance, launched Communisis AI to combine its new technologies into one service. Adrian, the Director of Strategy, sought a refreshed brand identity that stood out while remaining aligned with the existing brand.
I was tasked with designing the new identity for Communisis AI, starting with a presentation, custom iconography, and an updated logo. The design adhered to the Communisis blue palette, with modern, sleek iconography that contrasted with the heritage brand, reflecting the fusion of traditional services and new technology
The project scope expanded once the proposition was approved for funding. In addition to the presentation, I developed business cards with QR codes linking to the AI presentation deck and designed merchandise for a launch event, including branded memory sticks and handouts.

Separately, I was approached by Lee, the General Manager of Manufacturing, who needed multiple posters to decorate a newly refurbished site and communicate the company values. With tight budgets and timelines, the designs were kept simple, adhering to strict brand guidelines while ensuring they made a strong visual impact. I selected appropriate images from free stock websites, adjusting them to monotone to complement the brand colours, while incorporating angular lines and hexagonal shapes to reflect the company’s visual identity.
